Return Policy for The Phone Hub

Return & Refund Policy

Return Policy

At The Phone Hub, we are committed to providing quality refurbished devices and excellent customer service. If you experience any issue with your purchase, please review our Return & Refund Policy below.

1. Return Eligibility

Customers may request a return within 7 days from the date of delivery.

Returns are accepted only under the following circumstances:

  • Product received in damaged condition during transit.

  • Wrong product delivered.

  • The device has a verified functional defect covered under our policy.


2. Transit Damage Claims

To claim damage caused during transit:

  • A continuous unboxing video from opening the sealed package is mandatory.

  • The damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Claims submitted without an unboxing video will not be accepted.


3. Return Process

  1. Contact our Customer Support within 7 days of delivery.

  2. Our team will verify your request.

  3. Once approved, we will schedule a reverse pickup whenever service is available.

  4. If reverse pickup is unavailable, the customer may be required to self-ship the product to our service center.


4. Product Condition for Returns

To be eligible for a return, the product must:

  • Be returned in the same condition as delivered.

  • Include all original accessories, packaging, invoice, warranty card, charger/cable (if supplied), and any complimentary items.

  • Not show signs of accidental damage, misuse, liquid damage, or unauthorized repair.

  • Match the IMEI number of the original order.

The Phone Hub reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet these conditions.


Replacement Policy

For all approved return requests, replacement is the primary resolution.

  • A replacement device will be provided whenever stock is available.

  • Replacement devices are generally dispatched within 3–8 working days after approval.

  • Delivery timelines may be extended due to stock availability, courier delays, natural calamities, or other circumstances beyond our control.


Refund Policy

Credit Note Policy

If a replacement device is not available, The Phone Hub will issue a Credit Note for the eligible refund amount.

  • Credit Notes can be used for future purchases at The Phone Hub.

  • Credit Notes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Direct Bank/Original Payment Refund

If a customer chooses not to accept a Credit Note and requests a refund to the original payment method or bank account, the following deductions will apply:

  • 10% Restocking Fee

  • 5% Payment Gateway Charges

  • Shipping and logistics charges (where applicable)

The remaining eligible amount will be refunded after these deductions.


Refund Processing Time

  • Credit Notes are generally issued within 10 working days after the returned product has been received and successfully inspected.

  • Bank refunds, if approved, will be processed within 10 working days after inspection.


Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

A partial advance payment is required to confirm Cash on Delivery orders.

The advance payment is non-refundable if:

  • The customer cancels the order without a valid reason.

  • The customer refuses delivery without a valid reason.

  • The shipment has already been manifested or dispatched by the courier partner.


Return Shipping

  • For approved cases involving defective, damaged, wrong product, or DOA (Dead on Arrival), The Phone Hub will arrange reverse pickup wherever available.

  • Customers must ensure the product is securely packed until pickup.

  • If self-shipping is required, the customer is responsible for proper packaging to avoid transit damage.


Refund or Return May Be Rejected If

The Phone Hub reserves the right to deny a return or refund if:

  • The product has been damaged due to misuse, negligence, liquid damage, accidental damage, or unauthorized repairs.

  • Any accessories, invoice, packaging, or complimentary items are missing.

  • The IMEI number has been tampered with or does not match our records.

  • The return request is submitted after the 7-day return period.

  • The issue reported does not match the condition of the product received by us.

  • A transit damage claim is made without providing the mandatory unboxing video.


Important Information

  • The Phone Hub exclusively sells refurbished/pre-owned smartphones.

  • Minor cosmetic signs of previous use are normal unless otherwise mentioned in the product description.

  • Product images are for reference purposes only. Actual cosmetic condition may vary according to the selected grading.
